2015 to 2018 Ford Edge and 2016 to 2018 Lincoln MKX crossovers are being returned for the potential of brake fluid leaking, leading to difficulth in braking.

CAR AND DRIVER

Ford has issued a return call for nearly 500,000 of its crossovers, including the 2015–2018 Ford Edge and the 2016–2018 Lincoln MKX.

This return call is over a front brake jounce hose that may leak brake fluid, making it more difficult to brake.

Also today, Ford issued two separate recalls for small numbers of the 2020 Lincoln Corsair and the 2020 Ford F-150 for different issues.

Ford has issued a recall for a total of 488,594 vehicles in the U.S., with some spill over from Africa, including the 2015 to 2018 Ford Edge and the 2016 to 2018 Lincoln MKX. The affected vehicles have a front brake jounce hose that can rupture and lead to brake fluid leaking, ultimately possibly causing longer brake-pedal travel and increasing the risk of a crash.

So if you drive a 2015 tp 2018 Ford edge or a 2016 to 201i Lincoln MKX crossovers, and you have been battling brake issues; please report to your authorized Ford dealer directly.
